Case Study: Grand Elis Hotel — Redefining Adults-Only Hospitality in the Peloponnese

Grand Elis Hotel, located in Savalia, Ilia, entrusted us with a challenging and strategically sensitive task: to introduce and establish an adults-only hospitality concept in a region where this approach is not yet widely embraced. From February to October 2024, TheCoconutPR undertook the development of the hotel’s identity and its dynamic positioning in the market.



Our Approach

Brand Identity Strengthening & Audience Development

To achieve the project’s objectives, we implemented a multi-layered strategy that combined brand building, digital communication, and international networking.


  • Brand Identity: We developed a cohesive visual and verbal identity, emphasizing aesthetics, guest experience, and the hotel’s authentic philosophy.

  • Community Building on Social Media: We cultivated an engaged and emotionally connected audience through targeted content that strengthened interaction and organic brand awareness.

  • Google & Meta Campaigns (Facebook/Instagram):We designed and executed digital campaigns focused on increasing direct bookings, online visibility, and overall reach.

  • Participation in ITB Berlin 2024 (5–7 March): We coordinated and supported the hotel’s presence at one of the world’s leading tourism exhibitions, strengthening networking opportunities and international visibility.


Guest Experience & Public Relations

We implemented a series of strategic PR and guest experience initiatives to enhance brand reputation, credibility, and emotional connection with the audience.


  • Information Kits for Travel Agents (Greece & Abroad): We prepared and distributed curated presentation material, reinforcing B2B collaboration and international booking potential.

  • Guest Relations Strategy: From zero presence on TripAdvisor (as of February 6), we reached 40 positive reviews in five months, without paid promotion — achieved solely through personalised hospitality and authentic guest relationship building.

  • Press Release: We crafted and distributed a targeted press release to selected domestic and industry media, strengthening brand awareness.

  • Professional Photography Coordination: We oversaw the production of high-quality visual material for use across social media, the hotel’s website, and promotional campaigns.

  • Spa Experience Consulting: We provided ongoing guidance on space organization and wellness experience design to enhance service quality.

  • Editorial Content: We developed thematic articles focusing on slow travelling, contemporary hospitality trends, and the adults-only positioning.

  • Local Media Relations: We strengthened the hotel’s presence across media outlets in the Ilia region, building local credibility and awareness.


Highlight: Press Trip

In collaboration with the Region of Western Greece, we organized a press trip on 21–23 June, hosting journalists and influencers.


The experience included:

  • Gastronomic tastings (breakfast and dinner at the hotel)

  • Guided touring of the surrounding area

  • Beach and pool leisure experiences

  • Rejuvenating spa treatments


The outcome: authentic, high-quality content, elevated visual representation, and a measurable increase in word-of-mouth credibility.
