Every two years, SMM (Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology Trade Fair) turns Hamburg into the centre of the global maritime industry. The event once again brought together more than 2,200 exhibitors and around 48,000 visitors from across the world—connecting decision-makers, innovators, and experts who are shaping the future of the sector.

SMM is where the maritime world meets. A hub of insight, collaboration, and strategic growth, it unites shipowners, shipyards, designers, suppliers, manufacturers, and visionaries across the entire value chain. Key themes this year included digital transformation, green innovation, and the sustainability-driven evolution of global shipping.
